Put in a count of each format and the price adds itself up as you go, so you see the total before you send anything. A £25 deposit confirms the order and comes off the final bill — the balance is only due once your box is here and we have confirmed the price.

How ordering works

    Place your order

    Fill in the form with a rough count of what you have. The running total gives you an estimate as you go.

  2. 02

    Pay the £25 deposit

    Card or PayPal, or cash when we collect if you are local and have arranged that with us first. It comes off the final bill, not on top of it.

  3. 03

    Post it or arrange collection

    Free collection and return around Whiteley and the surrounding areas, and by arrangement a little further out. Anywhere else, we will send you packing advice before you post.

  4. 04

    We confirm the final price

    Once everything has arrived and been checked through, we confirm the price for the whole lot, less the deposit you have already paid. It should not come to more than you were quoted — if an extra tape, reel or slide turns up in the box, we will let you know before we do anything about it.

What you are sending

Put a number against anything you are sending. Bundle discounts are applied when we send your written quote: 10% from ten tapes, reels or discs, 15% from twenty-five, 20% from fifty. Slides and negatives are counted separately, from 151.

How you get your files back

Every order includes a private download link, live for 90 days, at no extra cost. Most people need nothing else. If you would rather have the files on something you can hold, or hand to family who are not confident with downloads, add a USB stick below.

Leave at 0 if the download link is all you need. £15 each, and we can post one straight to a relative if that is easier.

£25 now, the rest when the work is done.

The deposit comes off the total above. We count everything when it arrives and send you a written price before any work starts — if that figure is not what you expected, or you change your mind, the deposit comes straight back. Nothing is charged for a tape that turns out to be unplayable.
